It is ministry and I get back the love that I give. Christian City is open to all people regardless of their beliefs. The teachings and actions of Jesus Christ provide clear direction on how to apply Christian principles: love your neighbor, care for the poor, children and widows. CAMPUS Volunteers power the life-giving work that happens every day at Christian City. . We offer healing and love through evidence-based programs that lead to productive, hopeful futures. Many volunteers come to Christian City to help, but many of our residents also give of their time. Christian City’s mission is to extend Christ’s call to love our neighbors through housing, health care, crisis intervention and building community for children, youth, families, and senior adults. The Community Champion Awards is presented by Christian City to honor three deserving recipients who have made an impact and demonstrated outstanding leadership and commitment toward the betterment of our Atlanta community.
